Kartik Vrat – Damodar Maas – Niyam Seva – 2021

The Puranas praise enthusiastically the auspicious month of Kartik as the topmost of all the months. In this month mother Yasoda bound little mischievous Krishna with rope (daama) around His waist (udara) to the grinding mortar for having stolen butter and thus He came to be known as Damodar so this month is also known as the month of Damodar and is the most purified of all other pure months. Our Merciful monk will be observing this Holy month in Sri Dham Govardhan, TIRTHA Ashram.
